Veggies

With anticipated temps in the 80s this coming week, I am planting veggies in the garden, starting with cherry tomatoes (great for garden grazing). Last time they naturalized in small cracks in the patio and sprawled throughout the backyard. Tortoises loved them. I'll replant herbs in the next few weeks. Fresh herbs make meals pop. No more frost (she chants hopefully)!!!

i should be out in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks. i'm glad to see it so warm. ^_^ do you get much wind this time of year, or will it be a pleasant 80 degrees?

we prepared our backyard this weekend for gardening--a cubic yard of compost, a rototiller and a small army of helpers. tomatoes are certainly on the list to grow. ^_^
Glad to see I'm not the only gardener in the family. You got your garden in the week after you moved in--now that;s what I call getting your priorities straight!

Weather can be fickle this time of year but next week is expected to be in the high 80s. Phx doesn't get the really bad winds the north gets and the winds usually hold off till late March and April, however we have had a windy Feb (unusually so). When is the bike tour for Phx scheduled?
the tour de phoenix is march 31st, two saturdays from now. since it is in the morning, i'll be heading to phoenix that friday, crashing somewhere, waking up early to do the race, and enjoying the rest of the day in phoenix, starting almost certainly with a nice lunch near the finish line.

i'm not leaving until sunday. kat and jaime are going to spend the weekend together, so i don't need to be in a hurry to get back, excepting of course my complete dependence on a ride thereto. :p
